Arya Fruit Wine / Varsanyi Winery

Arya Fruit Winery is a local institution, producing local wines made from fruit harvested on the island of Siquijor. Lomboy Wine is their best-seller.

You can take part in a Wine Tasting for the modest sum of Php 70 per person to taste the various products on sale.

Prices start at Php150 per bottle and go up to Php200.

Located in Enrique Villanueva on the island's north coast, the winery uses local fruit — lomboy (Java plum), mango, and other seasonal harvests — rather than grapes, giving the wines a distinctly Filipino character you won't find on the mainland. It makes for an easy, inexpensive stop if you're touring that side of the island, and bottles travel well as a souvenir or gift.
