A short walk (not quite beachfront — you cross the road) from Solangon Beach's white sand, Aloha Resort is well-rated for the price: 4/5 on TripAdvisor, with guests highlighting large, comfortable rooms, attentive staff, and a free breakfast with decent variety. There are three pools to choose from (main, spa and a kids' pool) tucked among garden greenery, plus restaurants, shops and dive shops within easy walking distance.

A few things to know before booking: rooms facing the road can pick up tricycle noise, showers in some rooms run either too hot or too cold, and a handful of guests have reported insects or bathrooms that could use a refresh. The front gate closes around 9:30pm and reception isn't staffed 24 hours, so plan late arrivals accordingly. Standard rooms run roughly $47–59 (₱2,700–3,300) a night — solid value for what you get.
