Last Frontier Dive

Fun dives from ₱2,000 (shore) or ₱2,150 (boat); PADI Open Water certification ₱22,000. Last Frontier Dive is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center on the National Highway in San Juan, run by Kenji, a highly experienced Japanese dive instructor with a reputation for keeping groups small — a maximum of four divers per guide.

Rates

Boat dives cost ₱2,150 for one, ₱3,950 for two and ₱5,550 for three; shore dives are slightly cheaper at ₱2,000/₱3,750/₱5,250, and a night dive is ₱2,450. Multi-dive packages bring the price down to ₱1,600 per dive for 6-9 dives and ₱1,550 per dive from 10 dives up; Nitrox adds ₱450 per tank. A Discover Scuba taster is ₱3,850 for one dive or ₱5,850 for two. Rates include full gear rental, tanks, weights and a guide; a ₱6,500 per-person deposit and a ₱150 per-person daily diving fee apply on top.

Courses

As an Instructor Development Center, Last Frontier runs the complete PADI ladder: Open Water ₱22,000, Advanced Open Water ₱21,500, Rescue Diver ₱22,000, EFR ₱8,300, Peak Performance Buoyancy ₱12,000, Nitrox ₱8,500 and Divemaster ₱50,000, plus a ₱3,850 Scuba Review refresher.

The center is Green Fins-certified for reef-friendly diving practices and also handles OceanJet ferry ticketing for guests. Instruction is available in several languages beyond English, and the shop holds a 4.7/5 rating on TripAdvisor from more than 70 reviews.
