Butterfly Sanctuary

Entrance fee ₱100
Tucked into the hills near Mount Bandilaan in Lazi, the Butterfly Sanctuary is a small, privately run conservation garden dedicated to protecting Siquijor's native butterfly species. Enclosed in netting to keep the butterflies safe, the garden lets you walk right among dozens of fluttering species at close range — a peaceful, photogenic stop that's especially popular with families and nature photographers.
For the best experience, visit earlier in the day: butterflies are most active in the morning sunlight, when you'll see far more of them in flight than later in the afternoon. The ₱100 entrance fee supports the sanctuary's ongoing conservation work protecting the island's butterfly population.
