Lugnason Falls

Entrance fee applies (around ₱20 per person), plus roughly ₱10 for parking.

Lugnason Falls sits in a patch of jungle near San Juan, dropping around 5 metres into a natural pool clear enough to swim in. It's a short walk in from the parking area — around 15 minutes on a clearly marked dirt trail — and mornings are the best time to visit if you want the pool to yourself for photos.

Zodiac Falls

For more of an adventure, ask about the Zodiac Falls trek: a guided scramble further upriver past a series of around twelve smaller cascades, each one named after a zodiac sign. It's a genuine river trek rather than a stroll — climbing over wet rocks and wading through the stream for roughly 30-40 minutes — so a local guide is essential, not optional, and works on tips rather than a fixed fee.
