Not far from the port, ask your driver to stop — or pull over yourself if you're on a rented scooter — at the "I ❤️ SIQUIJOR" sign on the Boulevard, right along the seafront.

It's a quick, easy photo stop: the sign sits right against a backdrop of turquoise sea, making for one of the most Instagram-friendly shots you'll get on the island, and it's perfectly placed for a first photo the moment you arrive, or a last one before you leave. Late afternoon light works best if you want the water glowing behind you.

It sits on the same stretch of seafront where Siquijor Boulevard's evening street-food stalls set up after dark — worth combining the two if you're there around sunset: the photo first, then dinner a few steps away at a grilled-skewer stall.
