M's Place is a small, no-frills eatery in Siquijor town, just a couple of minutes from the town's Jollibee, serving simple Filipino classics to residents and passing travellers alike.

Hours and how to find it: open every day from 7am to 10pm, which makes it one of the few places in town for an early breakfast. The easiest landmark is Jollibee: M's Place is a few steps away. Tell your tricycle driver that, it works better than an address.

Why you have never heard of it: M's Place is on no review platform, not TripAdvisor, not the travel aggregators. It is a local business run by people who do no marketing. On an island where most recommended addresses are recommended because they know how to sell themselves, the ones that do not are often the better bet.
