Bahura Dive

PADI 5-Star Dive Resort in Lazi, on Siquijor's south coast. Bahura Dive is run by Rachel Cole, a British marine biologist and PADI instructor, giving the shop a genuine conservation angle alongside its diving and courses. Its house reef alone is worth the trip — a resident turtle cleaning station plus moray eels and frogfish, accessible right from shore.

Courses and rates

Bahura runs the PADI ladder: a Discover Scuba taster from ₱3,500, Open Water from ₱21,000, Advanced Open Water from ₱18,000, Rescue Diver from ₱24,000 and Divemaster from ₱60,000 (multi-week Divemaster internship packages are quoted on request). Rates can shift with the season, so it's worth confirming the current price when you book. Fun diving is priced by volume: a shore dive is ₱2,125, two boat dives ₱4,875, three (with lunch) ₱7,125, and a night dive ₱2,875, with better per-dive rates on 6-, 10- and 20-dive packages — gear, guide, snacks and marine sanctuary fees are included throughout.

Apo Island trips

Bahura runs dedicated day trips to Apo Island every Tuesday and Saturday: ₱5,900 for two dives or ₱7,000 for three, with snorkeling available at ₱3,750. Full equipment hire, lunch, snacks, drinks, a professional guide and marine sanctuary fees are all included in the trip price.
