This page lists the 53 places to stay we cover on Siquijor, from dorm beds to private villas. 45 are in San Juan, which holds most of the island's tourist offer along the west and south-west coast; the other eight are in Siquijor town, Larena, Maria and Enrique Villanueva.
The page is organised by area, because here where you sleep decides how you spend your evenings. San Juan is split into five zones. Each address shows its budget band (₱, ₱₱ or ₱₱₱) and is marked "by the sea" when it belongs to our seaside selection. Where we have a rating or a price, it is given. Where reviews are thin or mixed, we say so.
The one tip that matters most: decide first whether you want to walk to dinner and the bars, or whether you are happy to ride a scooter every evening. That single choice narrows the list considerably.
How to choose your area
- Solangon and Paliton (San Juan, west coast): the main white-sand beach strip, with the densest choice of beachfront rooms. Good for sunsets, though the water is shallow in places, and home to a PADI dive resort.
- Tubod and Maite (San Juan, south-west): around Coco Grove and its marine reserve. Maite is the island's liveliest stretch for bars and restaurants, so you can walk out at night.
- Lala-o and the coast road: beachfront resorts a few minutes' ride from the main strip. Quieter evenings, same sea.
- San Juan town centre (Poblacion): cheap rooms within walking distance of the beach, the sunset bars and the restaurant strip.
- The hills above San Juan: infinity pools, cliffs and big views, but you will need transport for everything.
- Siquijor town and Larena: the island's two ports. Handy on arrival or departure day, further from the tourist strip.
- Maria and Enrique Villanueva (east coast): the quieter, less-visited side. Isolation is the point, and the price of it.
Prices, as a rough guide from what we list: most ₱ addresses sit around ₱1,000–2,000 or $13–26 a night. ₱₱ covers most places between about $25 and $75. ₱₱₱ starts at around $35 and goes up to ₱18,000+ at Coco Grove and $180–290 at Villa Nindot.
San Juan: Solangon and Paliton beach strip
The best-supplied stretch on the island for rooms on the sand.
On the beach
- White Villas Resort (₱₱₱, by the sea) — On Solangon Beach, ranked TripAdvisor's #1 specialty lodging in San Juan, 4.3/5 from about 190 reviews. Rooms run roughly $34–99. The beach is shallow: better for a paddle than a swim.
- Charisma Beach Resort (₱₱, by the sea) — Right on Solangon Beach, with everything from a backpackers' dorm to deluxe and mahogany rooms and bamboo beach bungalows. ₱2,800–4,500, rated 4.1/5 from about 150 reviews.
- The Bruce (₱₱, by the sea) — Private beach, pool and free kayaks: one of the few addresses on Siquijor with all three. 4.3/5 from 137 reviews and rooms with kitchenettes, but the property is ageing.

- Casa James (₱₱) — Family-run apartment-hotel on the Circumferential Road, about 1.7km from Solangon Beach. Room types run from a Standard Tent and Studio to a two-bedroom bungalow, so it works for a solo backpacker as well as a family.
San Juan: Tubod and Maite
Tubod is home to Coco Grove and its marine reserve. Maite, next door, is the island's liveliest stretch for eating and drinking out. Both suit travellers who want to walk to dinner.
On the beach
- Coco Grove Beach Resort (₱₱₱, by the sea) — Roughly 800m of white sand in Tubod, four swimming pools and a protected marine reserve just offshore. ₱4,800–₱18,000+ a night and 4.6/5 from around 2,000 reviews: one of the island's best-known resorts, with prices to match.
- JohnLhea Beach Resort (₱, by the sea) — A no-frills beachfront cottage resort in Maite, about a kilometre from Tubod Beach, at roughly $13–22 a night. Genuinely cheap, but recent reviews flag real upkeep issues.

- E&N Paradise Island (₱₱) — 9.0/10 from 164 reviews and a staff score of 9.8, level with Lawson's for the best we have found on the island. Dormitory to family cottage, from $18, in a garden 15 minutes' walk from Tubod beach.
- Bermuda Triangle (₱₱–₱₱₱) — 25m² bungalows in the greenery on the Provincial Road in Maite, with the outdoor shower every guest mentions. 8.8/10 from about 460 reviews. Walking distance from bars and restaurants, but no direct sea access.

San Juan: Lala-o and the rest of the coast road
These addresses sit on or right by the sea along San Juan's Circumferential Road, outside the two busiest strips. Expect quieter nights and a short scooter ride to the main bars.
- Lawson's Beach Resort (₱₱, by the sea) — On the Circumferential Road, right on the sea. 9.3/10 from 269 verified reviews: the highest score we have found on Siquijor among properties with more than 200 reviews.

- Casa Playa (Ex Tropicasa) (₱₱, by the sea) — Beachfront guesthouse formerly called Tropicasa. The old name still appears on Tripadvisor and Agoda, so search for both.
- Infinity SANDS Resort (₱₱) — 3-star resort opened in 2018, directly on the Circumferential Road with the sea in front, with an outdoor pool, garden, restaurant and bar.
- Blue Joys (₱₱₱, by the sea) — Best known for its large infinity pool, billed as the island's biggest, and free kayaks and paddleboards. Rooms $53–102, but reviews are mixed (around 3.3/5): read recent ones first.
San Juan town centre (Poblacion)
Few places here are on the sand, but the beach, the sunset bars and the restaurant strip are all within walking distance. It is one of the cheaper ways to stay in the thick of things.
- Gerste Inn (₱) — In Purok Mabulukon, Poblacion, with a Queen Room of 46m², a five-person Family Suite and a larger room. Listed at $9–35 a night.
- Stella’z Guesthouse (₱) — A solid, no-frills base in the heart of San Juan: air conditioning, hot water, Wi-Fi and scooter rental on site, from around ₱1,000 ($15–22) a night.
- La Maison - Siquijor (₱) — In the middle of San Juan and still quiet, which is rare here. A small guesthouse with four rooms, run like a home rather than a hotel by hosts who have lived on the island for years. 9.7/10 from 54 reviews on Booking.com. Hot water with real pressure, silent air conditioning, Starlink high-speed internet and fully solar power, so grid outages do not reach the house: one of the few places on the island where you can work remotely and take video calls.
- Palm Village Guesthouse (₱₱, by the sea) — Budget stay on the Circumferential Road, a short walk from the main beach strip, bars and restaurants.
- Love Shack Hostel (₱₱) — Small, sociable hostel whose owner, Rita, is consistently praised by guests as hands-on and "super nice".
- Dolce Amore Italian Resort (₱₱) — As much a destination Italian restaurant as a place to sleep, on the Circumferential Road: Napoli-style pizza, handmade pasta, bread and gelato, plus a pool, garden and terrace.
San Juan: hills, cliffs and private retreats
Higher up or set back from the coast road, these places trade beach access for views, pools and silence. Almost all of them mean riding down for dinner.
- Tahanan Resort (₱₱–₱₱₱, by the sea) — Clifftop resort above Paliton with an infinity pool over the ocean, a wood-fired pizza restaurant and oceanfront yoga. Rooms from ₱2,530. Small and highly rated.

- Little nomads eco-guesthouse (₱) — Eco-conscious budget guesthouse on the National Road in Tag-Ibo, with simple rooms at around $13–15 a night.
- La Candura (₱₱) — Around eight rooms in the Candura area, roughly 5km inland from Siquijor town, with a pool, restaurant and bar. Around $39–51 a night; few reviews so far.
Siquijor town and around
Siquijor town is one of the two ports. Staying here makes sense for a first or last night, or if you prefer local life to the San Juan strip.
- El Pergentina Holiday Beach Resort (₱) — On the beach in Tinago, a few kilometres from the port. A family-style resort built around a pool and direct sea access, not a boutique address, and priced and reviewed accordingly ($43–71).
- Kamp Aninipot (₱) — Hobbit-style dwellings and camping on a hilltop in Tacdog, with panoramic views over Siquijor Bay. Eco-friendly and unusual; best for nature lovers.
- MandalaTribe Treehouse (₱₱–₱₱₱) — Individual treehouses in a quiet patch of forest, about 1.1 miles from Paliton Beach. $40–73 a night, 4.4/5 from 18 reviews. Isolated: you will need a scooter.
Larena and Sandugan (north-east)
Larena is the other port. Sandugan beach, on this north-east coast, is a long way from San Juan's bars: come for the sea, not the nightlife.
- Aquamare Beach Camp Resort (₱₱, by the sea) — On Sandugan beach. 8.6/10 from 478 verified reviews, with staff at 9.0, comfort 8.9 and value for money 8.8.
- CangDoki Resort and Dive Camp (₱₱, by the sea) — On a quiet stretch of coast near Larena, close to the Tulapos Marine Sanctuary. As the name suggests, diving is the main draw.
- Casa de la Playa Beach Resort (₱₱, by the sea) — White sand at Sandugan, far from everything: houses from ₱1,000 to ₱2,400, a vegetarian restaurant and massages by local healers. Only 3.6/5, ageing buildings and no recent reviews: call before making the trip.
Maria and Enrique Villanueva (east coast)
The quietest side of the island. Lazi, home of the San Isidro Labrador church and convent, has no accommodation on our list.
- Suite Princess Beach Resort (₱₱₱, by the sea) — Right on the water in Cantaroc, Maria, on a quieter, less touristy stretch of the east coast.
- Kalachuchi Beach Resort (₱₱₱, by the sea) — Small, secluded beachfront resort in Bitaug, Enrique Villanueva. 4.5/5 from 58 reviews, on the less-visited side of the island.

Good to know
- Check gate and reception hours. Some small resorts close up at night: Aloha's gate shuts around 9.30pm and reception is not 24-hour. Message ahead if your ferry lands late.
- "Beachfront" does not always mean a swimming beach. The water off White Villas and Charisma is shallow, better for a paddle than a swim, and the cliff properties reach the water by stairs.
- Read recent reviews where we flag them. Blue Joys, Coral Cay, JohnLhea, White Bada, Descanso en Paraiso and Casa de la Playa all have mixed, thin or dated feedback.
- Names change. Casa Playa still appears as Tropicasa on booking sites. Search both before assuming it is gone.
- Some places rent transport. Stella'z, Kwartos and Lapyahan offer scooters on site, VP Go Inn rents cars. Useful if you stay in the hills or away from the strip.
Siquijor accommodation: FAQ
Where is the best area to stay in Siquijor?
For a first visit, San Juan. It has 45 of the 53 places on our list, the main beaches (Solangon, Paliton, Tubod) and the island's busiest stretch of bars and restaurants around Maite. Pick Solangon to wake up on the sand, Maite or the town centre to walk out at night, and the hills for pools and views if you have a scooter.
Should I stay in San Juan or Siquijor town?
San Juan if you want beaches, sunsets and restaurants within walking distance. Siquijor town is one of the two ports, so it is practical for a first or last night, but it has far fewer places to stay on our list than San Juan's 45.
What are the best beach resorts in Siquijor?
By guest score, Lawson's Beach Resort (9.3/10 from 269 reviews) and Aquamare Beach Camp in Larena (8.6/10 from 478). Coco Grove is one of the best-known names, with 800m of beach and four pools. On Solangon, White Villas (4.3/5) and The Bruce, with its private beach, pool and kayaks, are reliable picks.
How much does a hotel in Siquijor cost per night?
Budget rooms start at around $9–15 (Gerste Inn, Little Nomads) and ₱1,000–2,000 for simple guesthouses such as Stella'z and Kwartos. Mid-range beach resorts mostly run from about $25 to $75. At the top, Coco Grove goes from ₱4,800 to ₱18,000+ and Villa Nindot from $180 to $290.
Are there adults-only resorts in Siquijor?
Yes, two on our list, both in San Juan. Villa Nindot has four standalone villas, each with its own plunge pool, at $180–290 a night. Makadal'Eau Boutique Resort in Tubod is a small solar-powered guesthouse around a pool, with private balconies.
Can I stay in Siquijor without a scooter?
Yes, if you choose your base carefully. In Maite, around Tubod or in San Juan's centre (Bermuda Triangle, Tagbalayon, Gerste Inn, Palm Village) you can walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. Hillside and east-coast places mean riding or arranging a lift every time you go out.
